Global leadership isn’t built in comfort zones. It’s forged through disruption, movement—and often, migration.
I recently joined a first series of Global Leadership Roundtable hosted by Global Spotlight GmbH . high-impact gathering of leaders with international backgrounds to challenge how we think about innovation and leadership across borders.
For me, this is not theory. It’s personal.
What struck me most wasn’t just the quality of the speakers—but the format. No crowded rooms. No polite small talk. Just with bold global leaders, Arooj H. 📱 Evren Apaydin , and Mandy Yuman Sun
sharp and unfiltered panel, and real, direct conversations with a curated group of people who have lived global complexity—not just studied it.
Here’s the truth:
-Innovation doesn’t come from homogeneous thinking.
-Global leadership isn’t about scale—it’s about perspective.
-International collaboration only works when we move beyond surface-level diversity to real exchange.
Too often, we celebrate “global” without embracing what it truly demands: discomfort, curiosity, and the courage to challenge our own assumptions.
That’s what this room delivered.
And that’s the kind of leadership we need more of.
Thanks to Mandy Yuman Sun and Global Spotlight GmbH for the invitation to join as a speaker.
Also to the participants who made the evening special !
