The Global Leaders Roundtable in Hotel Kö59 Düsseldorf was inspiring.
It was great to talk to people one admires due to their achievements. The chance to see the person behind the role, the Linkedin profile, the position. Each of them inspired me in their own way.
📱 Evren Apaydin for example shared her vision of prejudices, which as she explained are rooted in our brains incredible abstraction capabilities. Since we all have it, I try to be more aware of my prejudices and not let them influence my decision.
Sonalaxmi Sarkar inspired me with her persistence. It is a long way to become a VP in Europe as an Indian woman. She did not loose her happyness and smile while going her way.
Arooj H. did tell us how important it is to leave our home countries. He shared his personal story which made him relatable. Which concluded the evening really well. Be open, curious and brave.
