What a pleasure to visit the 𝗛𝗲𝗻𝗸𝗲𝗹 𝗖𝗮𝗺𝗽𝘂𝘀 for a strategic workshop with I. Faith Obioma (Dr.), Evelyn Scherer, Hanan Hallal, Nick Schröter and Carolin Kunkel— receiving so many valuable insights on how to make our 𝗙𝘂𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗿 𝗙𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗮𝗹 even more impactful.

Henkel has been one of our earliest and strongest supporters, believing from the beginning in our vision of creating a more 𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗹𝘂𝘀𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗳𝘂𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲-𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗿𝗲𝗰𝗿𝘂𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗴𝗹𝗼𝗯𝗮𝗹 𝘁𝗮𝗹𝗲𝗻𝘁 from germany and around the world. 

By pure coincidence, Hanan and I both showed up in white — and standing confidently in front of the camera immediately reminded me of Persil’s iconic 𝗟𝗮𝗱𝘆 𝗶𝗻 𝗪𝗵𝗶𝘁𝗲. 

What was remarkably forward-thinking for 1922 was how she was portrayed: 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗮𝘀 𝗮 𝗵𝗼𝘂𝘀𝗲𝘄𝗶𝗳𝗲 𝗱𝗼𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗹𝗮𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗿𝘆, 𝗯𝘂𝘁 𝗮𝘀 𝗮𝗻 𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗴𝗮𝗻𝘁, 𝗳𝗮𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗳𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝘄𝗼𝗺𝗮𝗻 — embodying a modern lifestyle made possible by innovation. More than 100 years later, that idea still resonates: 𝗶𝗻𝗻𝗼𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗲𝗺𝗽𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗽𝗲𝗼𝗽𝗹𝗲, 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗴𝗲𝘀 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗵𝗲𝗹𝗽𝘀 𝘀𝗵𝗮𝗽𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘄𝗮𝘆 𝘄𝗲 𝗹𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸 𝘁𝗼𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗿𝗼𝘄.

And today, 𝘄𝗲 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗟𝗮𝗱𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝗪𝗵𝗶𝘁𝗲 — no matter where we come from, what language we speak, or where our journey began. 🤍
